indiglo gauges installation?
indiglo gauges installation?
I really want to get some indiglo gauges in my max, is it really worth it. Is it that bad of a project to do? I was wondering if it is really hard to do, but does it look sweet at night

not hard to do at all... i suggest you get the reverse indiglo. i love mine and it only took about 3 hours... but thats only cause i had the spare time and wanted to make sure i did it right. i used super glue.. with a high heat tolerance... and make sure you get it good in the middle by the needle so your needles wont stick. just dont get it on the needle..

I have to say that your max is one of the few (non-black) ones that I have seen that look good with altezzas. Looks good.

I like them on white max's, I like them on red max's, but most other colors don't compliment them very well, I have seen the Gen 2 Altezza's on a Max and they look tight at night, they are all LED, but in the daytime, they look a litle funky, but thank you for the compliment, I hope you voted when you were on my site!

my needles are jumpy
i installed my reverse indiglo gauges today and when i was going sliding over the indiglo gauge over the stock gauge i had to force it over teh needle i think tahts what caused it to make the end of the black part of the needle get stuck...what can i do to fix the rough edge around the needle?

usually the clearance is pretty good for the "black part". however, the middle and top part of the needle usually does not have enough clearance. so maybe you didn't stick part of your faceplate enough to the bottom. suggest take out the gauge again and check for clearance for that "black part", move the needle around a bit and make sure stick the face plate good and flat (make sure put the tape closer to the center, at least that's where my problem was).
