In order of preference:

H&R
Maxspeed
Eibach

Personally - Nissan struts really don't do well with any drop.

Add Progress to the list. Softer than Eibachs but reduces lots of roll.

Don't sprints have a pretty good drop, and aren't they fairly stiff, as compared to B&Gs or H&Rs? If so, wouldn't less stiff springs allow factory struts to last longer?

springs have a great drop imo....if i were to drop, id get sprints....i dunno about the other part, but i hear they are harsher than h+R's and stuff, so id suppose you could ride on the factory struts for longer

I had H&Rs on stock struts but they were too soft for me. I changed over to Sprints a few weeks ago and still on stock struts.
Car doesnt ride like a Town Car, but it isnt that bad. Ill get the AGXs after I have my 18" M.M. Evo5's on, til then Im saving up for just the rims.

I have been riding on Sprints with stock struts for over 11 months now. They are not blown though, I have had them checked at both the dealer and Firestone many times. However as njmaxseltd said they do not do well with any drop. As if you will not see much (if any) of a handling improvment. I am buying AGXs soon because now I want the handling.

Given this statement, and the one by njmaxseltd, is it fair to say that there will be no handling benefit, no handling detriment, and only an astetic difference (as in, it will look better) if one were to install H&Rs on stock struts? Is it also fair to say that one should not go autocrossing if they want stock strust to last at all?

I would say that it is only an aesthetic improvment, but you will get the harsh ride characteristics of the spring as well. So it's really +1 then -1. And you should not go autocrossing at all if you want them to last, that is correct.

When I mentioned auto-X, I was being captain obvious. I appreciate the affirmation. I wish I had saved some $ for H&Rs...dern it...
