Since I have to take my car on some pretty rutted roads during work, I decided to get a set of H&R springs to replace my low Intrax. I kept scrapping my SFCs due to the low drop in the rear and my front lip would hit some ruts.
I installed the H&Rs last night and I'm very happy with the result and the car doesn't look as high as I thought it would with the H&Rs vs the Intrax. In the front, I have a 2.8" gap in the front and a 2.1" gap in the rear. With the Intrax, I had a 2.3" gap in the front and a 1.2" gap in the rear. The ride is a bit better with the H&Rs probably because of the additional wheeltravel and lower spring rate, but handling did suffer a little bit which is okay because I can dial up my struts if I want tight handling. It appears to me that the front H&R springs are not progressive (ie they don't have closely spaced coils at the top). The Intrax are progressive and have an extra coil. I haven't heard any suspension rattles or clunks even though I didn't wrap the upper coils.
I was happy to see that all my struts were in good condition. My front Koni's are almost 2 years old and my AGXs are 1 year old.
My 1st set of springs were Suspension Techniques and they rode stiffer than the H&Rs even though they were slightly higher.

I've had 3 different setups as well. So far I'm also very pleased with the H&R / AGX ride.
The best ride yet was with the AGX's on stock springs. That was just an amazing ride!
