225/50/16 AVS Intermediates?

Anyone have this size and model on their stock 16" SE 5-spokes? I know most people that have 225's have no problem as far as fitment, but I have heard of at least one that the size would not fit. I know that there are minor differences from tire to tire, and was wondering if anyone had this exact setup and could confirm that it indeed does fit and would recommend it. Thanks.

I went ahead and bought them from Tire Rack, couldn't beat the price with a stick...$271 shipped for all 4! Anyway, I got him to quote me the weight...28 lbs. per tire...I looked on Dunlop's site and an SP 8000 is 26 lbs., and a 9000 is like 22.9! My current Yoko Avid's are 25. Anybody care to take a stab at how my acceleration will be affected? The tires are .4 inches smaller in diameter than stock, but I'll have 12 more pounds of unsprung weight. Pretty much the same, you think? Or slower/faster? I at least hope to launch better due to the Z rating. Opinions are appreciated.

I also ordered these tires from tire rack, but I have not put them on yet. I am still trying to use up all of the tread on my kuhmo's. I can't help you with the stock rim question, because my wheels are 7 inches wide. My speedometer reads 2-3mph fast depending on speed, which is actually good. They are a pretty heavy tire and they wear out quickly, but the price was good and they have very good performance.
