Resetting CEL = Resetting ECU??

okay I just changed my knock sensor and my car already feels much better. I've heard I should now reset the ECU. Is this done when you reset the CEL? (small screw down by gas pedal?) or do you have to unplug the battery overnight?

I believe it's the same thing, when you reset the CEL.

1.Turn key to ON position
2.Turn ECU screw clockwise to stop
3.Wait 2 seconds
4.Turn ECU screw counter-clockwise to stop
5.Repeat steps 2-4 again.

funny you should mention this, I ust reset mine tyesterday after installing a Frankencare Midpipe.

Thanks, I knew how to check the CEL and reset it, just didn't know if it also reset the ECU.

WHen ever I try to reset my CEL it starts to blink the codes again. Is this how it should be?
