shaving the rear emblems
shaving the rear emblems
I've got a black 99 Maxima ES and I want to shave some or all the rear emblems. If anybody has some pics of any shaved Maximas, I'd be interested in seeing them.
I heard that shaving the emblems can be done with a hair dryer, some patience, and some polish. Is this true? Advice is appreciated.

I used a blow dryer and some fishing line to remove my M A X I M A lettering. If it's a real hot day, 90 dergrees plus, you can skip the blow dryer. To clean the glue off I used this stuff called Goo Gone(you can find it at Wal-mart or K-mart), then I used car wax on the shaved area.
