DIY Intake: What filter to go with?

I am doing a BrianV intake w/ a homebrew Midpipe. I went looking for filters locally and came up dry. All that I found locally was a "ricer special" PAPER cone for $19.99 that you THROW AWAY when it gets dirty.

I am looking into different K&N cones (must have 3" inlet/mounting flange) or another brand called Power Stack Power Stack, which I have read on other forums has better flow rates than K&N filters of the same size. Of course, I do realize that greater flow rates may also result in decreased filtering, but that is another story...

Aside from the "old faithful," K&N, what other brands do you guys recommend?

Just go with K & N and be happy, why bother with another company. Weapon R makes an intake. Just stick with K & N filters.
