which oil filter to use with Perma-Cool oil cooler?
I just got the Perma-Cool oil cooler. I know you have to use a larger oil filter, but which one exactly? Brand, model number, etc.? Currently, I have the Purator oil filter on my car.
A question on the install, do I need to do another oil change or can I simply swap oil filter? I just did an oil change btw.
Thanks!

I recommended he look at other cross-references to that filter, which include a Motorcraft FL-200, the SuperTech ST16 (value leader at $1.97 and a good filter), and the STP S16 (same as SuperTech but $2.99). These recommendations assume you are using the same oil cooler as MardiGrasMax.

Thanks Bill. I'll ask Matt when I have a chance.
JAY25 has the same oil cooler as I do and he uses a Mobil One oil filter, M1204 model. So I'm going to look into that.
Matt, if you're reading this, which oil filter do you use exactly?
