remote entry
i bought a used 96 maxima a while back and i didn't receive a remote entry fob with the car - my car has the alarm system that is engaged when the door is locked from the outside with a key. my question is did all maximas come with remote keyless entry or was this an option? i have remote entry on my 96 pathfinder as well as my 2000 frontier and this got me to wondering. thanks

another way to know is to get in your car, shut and lock the doors, stick your key in the ignition 6-7 in 10 seconds and see if the hazards flash twice in the gauge cluster. if they flash you can pick up the remotes pretty cheap on ebay ($30) and program in less than a minute. good luck
