what type of suspension setup will give you a smooth ride? i live in indianapolis and some of the roads are crappy. btw i have some 18's on the max. will the rim size make you feel all of the bumps?

 

18's will make your ride quality more bumpier, H&R springs would be the best ride

 

1) Get rid of your 18's and go down to 17's
2) H&R springs with KYB GR2 struts and rear shocks

but i have 18's. it is too late for the 17's.

 

H&Rs. Believe me on this one. I've had three different sets of springs now. I never knew a lowered Maxima could ride so soft and comfy.

The GR2 isn't quite as stiff (Performance oriented) as the AGX's are. There also about 70 bucks cheaper. He wants a smooth ride, so a slightly softer shock will give him this. Why spend the extra $$ if your never going to use the stiffer settings which are available only on the AGX's?

Eibach springs and Tokiko shocks. Oh and a 45 profile tire would really help if your running 40's.

NO WAY! this is not the setup for a comfy ride.

I second that. Eibach handle nice, but ride like garbage.
