Ionic Dynamics Kit - Installation Help!

Hey, I just ordered the side skirts and the rear valence ( 2 piece ) wizza has given me some good tips so far on the side skirts, but i was wondering if those with the kit could help me out. Espically anyone with the 2 piece rear how's the easiest way to go about installation? any tips? thanks

are yours pre-drilled? if they are then just go under the car and use the 2 screws that are under the bumper to secure them on. What I did was drill 2 extra holes and used some bolts along with the 2 screws.

Yes, mine are pre-drilled. Are those instructions for the rear valences or the skirts? Thanks a lot, also, if the rear.. drill them directly into my bumper from underneath? I dont know if i understand right, thanks.

Well, I had mine put on for me when my car was in the shop. All you have to do is just use the predrilled holes and drill into the bottom of the bumper. If you want to see some pics of my car, check out HERE

yo.. thanks, your car is hot man, you should change your sig pic, as should I, mine is way out of date. Speaking of that I'll do that today, but is your car lowered? if so what drop you have, im thinking of installing my kit myself so obviously the kit will be on for a little while without paint or lowered, will this look hideous? I'm not sure how the ionic kit will look if it's not lowered.
thanks

Thanks...
I lowered the car w/ sprints. I'm waiting to take more pics of the car soon, since it just left the body shop last friday. Personally, I would wait to paint the kit before you put it on. Because when it gets painted, they are going to have to take it off.

Really? they can't paint the kit once its on the car? I always see cars driving around with unpainted kits. Should I just take my kit to a body shop then and have them color match it? They will need my car anyways to get the color right, right?
thanks

The kit will be a lot easier to paint with it off the car. When I first got my front lip painted, all I did was give the shop my paint code.

ive been told not to do that, b/c since the first day you take your car home your cars paint fades due to the sun so i should get it color matched or something? Also, i'm not sure what my paint code is, i think i have a sterling mist but i'm not sure. My car is grey/silver people call it either or all the time, any ideas on my paint code.. check my sig

look in the engine bay one the passenger side. It's on the shiny piece that has your engine type and vin number.

Thanks, anyone else have suggestions on whether i should install or paint first? I was thinking if they were painted first then I might scratch them up during installation? Anyone..

what you do is when its unpainted, install everything on the car as if it were painted to make shure there are no fitment problems like not being able to close the doors, gaps, etc... then when your satisfied with the fit, take it off and get it painted. The point is that you dont want to have to deal with sanding, drilling holes and messing around with them after its painted.

it will prolly be more money to paint it when its on teh car cuz the shop will have to tape up everyhting that they dont want to get paint on.....they will charge u for that....not a lot im sure but they charge......its a lot easier for them if u just give them the kit and they paint it w/o having to mess with your car buy taping it off.......hope that helps

are you guys putting double side tape on?
i hear for fiberglass it isnt absolutely necesary for the skirts since its more rigid that say urethane which might flop a little
