ECU model specific?
ECU model specific?
Is the wiring and codes for the ECU model/year specific? I had my car looked at and the codes don't match anything i can find (13-36 crank, 3-25 knock, 4-46 purge valve is what he got). The guy helping me says that the wiring is all wacked out. Where can i get ahold of a wiring diagram for 96 SE 5 speed? When the sensors were checked they were all okay. I wanna start auto-crossing and i can't even get it to run smooth, AAAAGRHH!!!
btw: thanx for all the info. You guys are saving my a**.

I know when I was checking with a local salvage yard to see about replacing the ECU on my "99 SE", they told me there were 3 different models used and I would have to get the part # from my ECU to assure that I got a correct replacement.
A shop manual will have a wiring diagram. To have someone give you relevant advice you will have to provide a more detailed description than describing your wiring as "wacked out".
