Where to drill for headlight strobes!??!?

Where to drill for headlight strobes!??!?

I just went out and bought a headlight strobe kit. I need to drill a 1/2 inch hole in my headlight assembly, but i dont want to damamge or crack anything, i really want to install it buy i have no idea where to drill. Guys please help me out

You should be able to place the 1/2" hole anywhere in the rear or top of assembly. The tops and rears of your headlights should be made of a hardened plastic composite (I know that the 5th gens are). It's not recommended that you installed the strobe light from the top b/c then condensation can form above the strobe, and that's not good at all.

mine are drilled in the top.. i used a circular 1" bit and ripped right through.. you will probably have to take the headlight apart once you drill (depending on how good you are), but that's not hard at all.. just takes patience..

and i have no condensation whatsoever.. yay for silicon
