1996 Maxima problem

What is the best way to remove those annoying "Don Davis Autogroup" logos on the back of the car? Thank you in advance, it really detracts from the look of the car in my opinion.

"Don Davis Autogroup" ?? I'm sorry, never heard of it. It's probably a decal that came w/ the car from the dealership? Well, there are ways to remove stickers from the car.

Try soaking it with hot water (be careful not to burn yourself!) Then use a plastic pot scrubber on it. It may take several applications of hot water and scrubbing to remove it all. If small pieces of glue remain, you COULD use paint thinner (not turpentine, and NEVER gasoline) to remove them. IMO, don't do it. Just scrub it all off. Good luck.

btw- i know there are products out there that do this simpler, but other members w/ more knowledge will add =)

if its an actual emblem (like the Nissan and M A X I M A on the back) then follow the instructions for shaving the tail found in the 4th gen FAQs...but theres a chance they may have riveted it to you car. in that case your screwed.

i don't think a plastic scrubber is needed. i took the decal from the dealership off by using bug n tar remover and heating it with a blow dryer for a few seconds, after that it just peeled off easily with my finger nails. goodluck
