and after i redid the rewire, they still light up like it's set up stock, the fogs still won't come on by themselves, just with the headlights on

That helps alittle, but we know how to do the rewire, but i want to know why my horn goes off when i try to reconnect the battery, and whenever we have the new rewired setup connected we try and connect the battery and the horn goes off, wanna know if someone knows a way around the horn going off, for all you 99.5 se-l's that did the rewire

go to your fog light relay. Find the green/yellow wire comin off of it(underneath). Cut that and extend that wire to your (+) wire on the parking lights with an inline fuse (15amp,20amp fuse) and your done!!

takes 20min if your good

yeah we did that, but the problem is the horn going off after we rewire the fogs....don't know how to bypass that, it's almost like a security feature to prevent the rewire
