Upgrading Headlight Hareness... Work?

Ok... My Nokya headlights are at it again....
2 of them... around 58 bucks... MELTED ON MY HARENESS so I can't take them out... sad huh?
So I finally decided to upgrade the hareness..
will it work? Anyone have any problems using the 80/100 watt bulbs?
I'm thinking of getting
JC Whitney Xenon 80W/100W headlight bulbs
The one 1MAX2NV uses. They match well with the brighter clearence lights.
So anyone have problems with the upgrade?

I was just on the JC Whitney site looking at bulbs. I used to run their Diamon Blue 80/100 bulbs. Great light from them and I never had a problem with my harness. I have since switched to HID's.

I notice they have a bulb now thats 100/55 Watts. That sounds perfect, just 10 more Watts on the low beam wount burn anything. They have that bulb with Zenon gas which is supposed to make them burn cooler. Why don't you give one of them a try? Every bulb I've ever used from JC Whitney performed quite well.

I'm running 100/80w with a harness and have no problems. Just be sure you ground it well.

p.s. is it better to ground it to metal screws than (-)negative side of battery?

To get good ground use existing OEM ground bolt.
