I hope that someone can assist me.
The problem I am having is that once I put the gear selector in 'park' I cannot easily then put it in gear... in other words it locks in park !!! I had the local Nissan dealer replace a switch that they claimed would fix the problem, but it continues. After going back to the dealer they said that it was a problem top do with parts in the console (under the selector). I am now forced to leave a key in the ignition, and park it in neutral.

Any ideas or quick fixes available????

Try lubricating the linkage and cables under the console.

 

Thanks for your prompt response. Already tried the lubrication thing. It hasnt helped. The problem seems to be linkage related tho.

Any other ideas??
