Can I put a jack here?

I usually jack my car up with one jack under each wheel (A-arm specifically) but I am tempted to jack my car up underneath that black metal frame piece directly in the middle of the car (it runs from front to back directly underneath the engine). Although I'm scared to have it bend with the weight of the car on it. Does anybody else use this jack point. Reason I'm asking is cause I want to bring a seperate pair of wheels/tires to the track Friday and only want to bring one jack for changing them.

Whenever I change the oil on my car I jack it up from the front, right in the middle. Its basically under the engine. I hasn't hurt my car yet.

I'm pretty sure we're talking about the same thing. I think it has like 3 ridges in it.

how about the rear? I know the places for jacking up the front. but the rear is kind of wierd for me. I had to put some wood at the rear "fin" under the door for the lift machine.

there are 4 jackpoints under the car they are all part of that line that has the 3 ridges in it under the car on the sides. You will see a section where the line breaks twice. put your jack there to lift the car. those are made to jack the care up. Actually hydraulic jacks bassically latch in there perfectly.

UM NO!!!.. that's not a jacking point.. at all.. it's there for the stock jack and the stock jack only and it's poor for even that..

there are upside down bell shaped metal pieces behind the wheel and in a little for the front.. and in the rear use the frame..

uh, er, well, it's never folded like the side part.... so i guess it's the best place we've found so far.
