is my 21.2 mpg ok??
#3
I mainly do city driving on weekdays, only hwy on the weekend. They way I've been driving (Just installed Stillen Intake 2 weeks ago), I'm lucky to be getting 20mpg! But before the Intake, I'm only about 22-24mpg.

Stop&Go Driving?
The gas mileage is really affected by Stop & Go driving (as when you do deliveries). If it is really a mix of City/hwy I usually get from 21 to 26 mpg using even 87 octane gas. Warm is usually better than cold. The worst is in the winter - city about 18+ to about 21+.
Check the tires for proper pressure, check the gas too, some brands & stations seem better than others.
On a trip from DC to NYC average of 75 mph I got over 31 mpg!!!
29 mpg is normal on hwy for us (about 55-65 mph).

maxeffect is right, it is posiable... and it really sucks. sending $40 a week to go nowhere really gets old quick. granted i do not drive very "gas friendly" but hey, whats the point of driving if you can't have fun?

I usually get 14 in city, and 18 on highway.
But I've got parasitic toys.

you read the owners manual
Come now....perhaps you mnissed the key in the owners manual...you CAN use 87 octane with no problems (after all that is what the knock sensor is for anyhow) and besides you just get a little less performance and mileage. Based on calculations with 93 octane being 25-50 cents more per gallon....... Hmmm
