Mass Airflow Sensor

Mass Airflow Sensor

Someone at work told me that you benefit by cutting out the screen that is on front of that sensor in the mass air flow box. Increased air flow or something, is this true?

yes, cut the sensor out while your at it..........












jk, people have done it and there's no noticeable benifit. It's actually there to straighten the airflow and give the sensor a accurate reading etc.
