Stillen RSB Noise

I just installed the Stillen Rear Sway Bar and I'm getting a clicking noise from the bar or the car. I'm assuming I didn't put it on correct. I did a search and everyone said that as long as it's installed properly that it won't make any noise.

What should I check when I get around to it this weekend. I need to make sure that the bar is not in contact with any part of the car(which I thought I did, but I did rush to get it on) What else should I look for or could be the cause? Should I tighten it more???

Thanks in advace!

This same thing is happening to me... I installed my sway bar about 2 days ago..... it happens when only one side of the car has to go over a bump, but the other side doesn't. I don't know what the problem is either.... can anyone help?

Any Help on the Noise???

Ok, well someone out there has got to have a solution, and I did search before I asked to see if there was something similar out there on this issue. Can someone help or point us in the right direction?

If the bar is to far forward, the top of the brackets will hit the floor boards. Check your installation when the car is on the ground, not up in the air. Use a set of ramps and back the car up onto them. Then look and see how much clearance you have between the brackets and anything above them.

Be sure you torque the nuts/bolts

-appropriately. Some people have reported noise and found it was due to the nuts/bolts not being sufficiently tightened. I have had mine installed over 3 months and haven't heard a peep from it. I've had it on the racetrack, too, so. . .no noise there, no noise anywhere.

Good luck!
