ECU decoder site is down, what is the cause & solution of the 0702 & 1005 codes?

0702 = three-way Catalytic Converter
1005 = EGR Solenoid Valve or Circuit Vault

Ok, I earlier attempted to replace the knock sensor with my girlfriend (she has small hands to get to te knock sensor) and before attempting to see if her hand would fit, I disconnected a green plug from a green box which I found out later to be I believe is the EGR Solenoid Valve. Well, we decided to finish the knock sensor replacement another day since we could not get the knock sensor bolt loose without the right tools. We went for a 30 minute drive to an import hangout and came back. About an hour later, we get back in the car and when I started the car the Check Engine Light came on and as soon as tha happened I remembered that I probably didn't reconnect the green plug. I immediately turned the car off and reconnected it. I drove her home with the light still on and got the above codes along with the Knock sensor 0304 code as soon as I got home 10 minutes later. Now my question is, did the 0702 code happen because of having the green plug disconnected? I'm guessing if I already had the 0702 code, my light would've came on a long time ago. Of course the knock sensor 0304 code doesn't show unless another problem occurs, and I'm guessing the 1005 code obviously went off because it was disconnected. Is it possible to get the 1005 code without the 0702 code? I read that having the RT High-Flow cat can cause the 0702 code, but I've had it (1 year used) for about a half-year without the light going off. Now from me having finally getting the 0702 code, does that mean I have to get whatever is needed to be replaced for the 0702 code, or since I went ahead and resetted the ecu, that code is false? If anyone can help me with my above questions, it would be highly appreciated. Thank you.

DTC 0702

Diagnostic Trouble Code 0702 points to a problem with the three-way Catalytic Converter.

The Cat is one of the principal components of the emissions control system. The Engine Control Module monitors the signals from the two front Oxygen Sensors and the one rear Oxygen Sensor. The signal frequency of each sensor indicates something about the condition of that sensor. A comparison of the frequency of the front sensors with the rear sensor indicates something about the condition of the Cat.

This malfunction was detected when the ratio of the signal frequency from the right bank front Oxygen Sensor to the signal frequency of the rear Oxygen Sensor exceeded a critical threshold value. This indicates that the Cat does not have enough oxygen storage capacity. The right cylinder bank is also called the rear bank. It is cylinders 1,3,5.

Possible causes of this DTC include ...
- Three-way catalyst
- Exhaust tube
- Intake air leaks
- Fuel injectors
- Spark plugs
- Ignition timing

Regarding DTC 1005, here is a general info post with a part number for fixing:

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....highlight=1005

And other posts you may want to look at to see if you can conclude it could be causing/getting caused by other issues:

The decoder site is good, but nothing beats the search function here in the 4th gen forum only for ECU issues. You're likely to find a wealth of info from everyone's experiences here.
