Summer Tires-Good Performance for Cheap?
I have pretty good Continental all seasons that were on the car when i bought them. What I want to do, is see how they work this winter, in the snow, then if they work out well, I would like to get just summer tires in April/May. Does anyone suggest any good brands, for under about $150 each, in the stock 16" size? I had yokahama tires on my old car that I liked, what do you guys think?
Thanks,
Dan Raia

The Falken Ziex are all-seasons.
For $150/tire, you can get:
Bridgestone Potenza S-O3 PP ($134)
Dunlop SP Sport 9000 ($123)
Toyo Proxes T1-S ($147)
If you want to go with 225/50-16, your choices are endless.

Thanks,
Where are these prices found? a local tire store or a website/mail order? Also is there a disadvantage with going with a different size than stock? How much would it offset the speedometer? and higher or lower?
Thanks!
