Exhaust ??'s (y-pipe)

I was wondering if anybody can tell me what the max sounds like with a y-pipe,b-pipe and stock muffler. I want more power, and more tone but I don't want it to be annoying. How much of a differnce does the resonater make? If anyone has heard the exhaust on the new eclipse V6's, does it sound anything like that? I really like the sound of those, (quiet, with muffled tone) Tried a search but didn't yield quite what I was looking for. Thanks for your comments/suggestions

ummm... yea.

only intake it sounds like wwaaaaaagghh

add a y pipe, wwwaaaaaaaaaagggghhhhh

throw on the b-pipe and you'll have wwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagggggghhhhhhhhhh

Seriously though you need to find the nearest/soonest Maxima meet and go listen to what everybody's got. That's the only way you can really tell what you like.

Thats hilarious!
It shouldnt be too loud if you keep the stock muffler, just get a Y pipe, if its not to loud get a B pipe and/or CAI. A CAI is only loud about 3k RPM, so unless u dont go WOT all the time then u wont know its there.

Sorry if you don't know what I'm trying to describe, it's not like a
waaaaaaagggghhhh. That may be what they sound like with exhaust, but I'm thinking of the stock exhaust. Thanks for replying anyways.
PS I know what an intake sounds like and it doesn't sound like a rice can.

I don't think it's THAT loud except for at WOT. Somewhere around "wwwaaaaaaaaaagggghhhh" I guess. & hey, I'm a dad with 2 kids so if it's not that loud for me, it probably isn't going to be that lud for you either. Of course all this is pretty subjective.

I have a y/cat/b with the stock muffler and I love it. No tin can sound here. I have a resonator on the b-pipe, so that probably helps. Sounds almost like stock unless you get on it, then you just hear the intake anyway.

I did a WRPSPD Y and High flow cat....i can't tell a difference until the tach goes past 4K+ with the pedal to the floor.

if you get a b pipe with a resonator and a muffler (not a glass pack), it will be quiet as stock until you dip your foot in the gas.
