I'm looking to get tint soon and will either get that mirror/reflective tint or 20% tint. My girl says the mirror would look cool on a sterling mist but I'm not sure. I've seen it on a blue max and it looked tight. So what's your opinion?

 

id say go with 35%. 20% will just get you hasseled at night by cops and so will the platinum tint. I had 20% on mine and took it off cause i think my car looks 100x better without tint

I have 20% smoke on my pearl looks goooooood. I think the platinum/aluminium in a slightly transparent % on your color adds class.But really its all about what looks good to you.

 

I put 35% on my Sterling Mist and I like it. Sometimes I wish it was mirror tint though, on a Sterling Mist I think it would look sweet. Either way, I think it would look good.

 

35% tint is what I have on my Sterling Mist 99SE. Looks very nice, makes it look more "elegant". A darker tint (ie 20%) looks better on white or black Max's (I guess equate those colours as being more 'sporty').

 

Yeah I know it's about what looks good to me. I saw platinum on a blue max and liked it more than dark tint. Just not too sure about getting it w/Sterling Mist.

I have (or I think they are 5%) all around. I refer to it as limo tint. You can't see jack from the outside. I could be next to someone at a red light flicking them off making faces and they can be looking right at me and not know. I mean you can't even see the outline of me (the driver) from the outside. This works wonder in sunny areas (such as Las Vegas) its great in the summer time. I love the privacy, you can get brains from your girl in rush hour traffic and no one can see! Hehe. I like the platniums as well just make sure they have the cop's interogating room mirror effect. If you see a cop coming, just roll your window down. That should take care of it. Or just hope they have some real police work to do and that you won't be bothered. I really don't care anymore I've been next to cops with my windows up, they've looked over and I flick em' off and they can't see. Oh, how fun. Okay, good luck to you.
