Just installed a G-Force ECU in my 97 GXE 5sp and WOW it pulls strong. Before the ECU I got a Y-pipe, Stillin Cat-back, UD pulley, Hybrid Intake, STB, KYB agx's and B&G springs. 179.1hp and 189.7tq at the wheels. I haven't dyno'd it since the ECU was installed but I can tell a big difference in the midrange. So if your wondering if the ECU is worth it, the answer is yes. If you own a 97 Max like me I hope you can deal with the CEL being on all the time. I can't wait to order the MEVI. Looks like I'll be spending some time at the track.
