intake vs cone filter

i have a cone filter that i bought through procarparts.com. the sound i get from it is great, but i want to put a cold air intake or maybe a midpipe. if i get the regular midpipe and use the procarparts cone filter is that midpipe gonna make it louder or quieter? also, if i get a cold air intake will the sound be as good, louder, or quieter?

thanks

midpipe- louder/deeper than just cone
CAI- louder/deeper than both cone and midpipe

The midpipe is definitely louder (but not annoyingly so). The cone filter will be fine with the pipe, I've had my generic cone on for a while now w/ my mid.
