Hey guys,

i was wondering if a 5th gen bose stereo headunit would fit on a 4th gen? my 4th gen bose headunit is messed up and i found a 5th gen bose headunit for a fair price. do any of you guys know if it will fit without modification. it looks about the same size.

The search didn't help since it was in reference to a maxima GXE with no bose system wanting to instal a 2000 bose headunit.

I have a 1996 GLE that came with the bose system, what i want is to replace the 1996 bose headunit with a 2000 GLE headunit. will this work?
