Fog light cut out?

Hi,
on my 96 gxe , i have no fog lights... but i was wondering if it is possible to cut out the area on the bumper where they are suppose to be(with a Dremel for example) and install the original fogs. If this is possible, does any one have instructions and where should i get these fogs and how much?
Thank You

Nissan sells a kit for about $250 that includes the lamps and housings, braces for the cutouts, relay, switch, template for cutting out the holes in the bumper cover, and instructions.

That said, if you have a GXE that came from the factory without the Comfort and Convenience package (power seats, lighted vanity mirrors), not only do you have a speed limiter in your ECU, but the car is NOT pre-wired for fog lamps. I found this out the hard way. If you really want them, you'll have to wire them in yourself.

i guess my car has came with the the Comfort and Convenience package, so if i go to NIssan and buy the lights and the wires and whatever else and go somewhere else to install it should work and be cheaper ? Right?
But how much are the light ?

Not pre-wired? Did you look at the head light harness? that's where I usually find the wiring needed to plug into the fogs.

The plugs are taped back right near the front side markers. Just pull down your inner fender liner from the bottom and take a peek up there

I have a 97 without the foglamps too, however I do have power front seat, lighted vanity mirrors, and I looked and the wiring for the foglamps is in place. You can see the connectors just hanging there. How about we get a group purchase up for factory fog lamps? I'd be willing to find the best deal and negotiate a price for them. I bet we could get a great price if we had 10 or more. I've be wanting them for a while and have found a dealer that charges 180.00 for the kit, however I do not know if this covers the switch for the steering column and the relay. I do know that it covers the lamps, brackets, and if you already have the CC package you don't need the wiring. You do need the switch and the relay tho.....any one interested? I'd be willing, like I said to do the work........we need a poll to see how may are interested.....I'll commit to the work if we can get 10 or more people.....
