Dropping the Max

Ok, i just want to plan out all my expenses to see if i have enough to lower my car.

im looking for a 2" drop, with kyb agx struts
what springs give a 2" drop? so far i see sprints...
so thats about $130 and $350 for the struts
do i have to get any camber adjustment parts for this drop?
or any other parts that go along with lowering the max?

if you drop your car over 1.5 inches (i think thats the number) with kyb's it voids the warranty if they were ever break .. you may want to think about that

your other options are intrax springs or coilovers, but i think sprints are the least harsh ride out of all of those

what's up Dev?
The sprints/kyb's r the way to go! Didn't you take a ride in my car @ the Pac. mall meet? N e wayz...all you need is an alignment. Since I haven't gotten one as of yet, I can't tell you about any camber issues, but I haven't read any members suffering from camber problems from using Sprints.

2 inch drop fuking sucks! I hate it ! i so wish i can go back and time and get coil overs...

just do it right and get coil overs, so then you dont have to deal with the uneven drop of springs..or wish it was lower down the road.

Just my 2 cents

sup justin??
yeah your car handled like 50X better than my boat...haha
and not harsh either, although i haven't experienced many other spring/strut combo's.
your car is a totally different ride than mine, first of all, my max looks gay cause its higher than an SUV, and second it handles like crap. i can't complain about the straight line, but the twisties kill me. i was driving with my cousins z3 the other day, and he took me on the curves so badly it wasn't funny, i got dealt with badly.
anyways, where did you get the parts from? and any problems with shipping?
should see you at the next meet...ttyl

for sure man
i should tell you that the ride wasn't that harsh @ the pac. mall meet cuz they didn't fully settle Now that they did, they are a bit harsher, but I still think its worth it for the increase in handling.

pm'd u about all the costs and stuff...not sure whether or not to post it in public
