i just bought the engine start button off erik. i need to know what wire i connect the button to. is it the yellow one? thanks fellas

 

Your car has 2 start wires. 1 is a COLD start wire. You'll need to energize both when it is cold or it will ot start. I can have the wire codes for you tomorrow. I'm not sure how the start system you bought is set up but there are a few wires that need to be energized if you want everything to come on.

There are actually 2 different wires codes, depending on which side of the ignition plug you go to, so I'll just give you 1 side to minimize the confusion.

12V - WHITE/RED
IGN 1 - BLACK/WHITE
IGN 2 - BLUE
ACC - RED/YELLOW
STARTER- BLACK/YELLOW
STARTER- GREEN/BLACK (COLD START)
TACH - WHITE/GREEN (AT ECM BEHIND ASHTRAY)
