Questions regarding clear corners on Ebay

Has anyone bought clear corners off Ebay? I figure since they're going to get stolen anyway, I may as well get them cheap on Ebay. Do they all come with amber bulbs, even the ones that don't specify? If not, how much would a set of amber bulbs run me?

Also, it looks like there are two slightly different types of clear corners being sold.

The first one:

The second one:
This one looks "duller" so it kind of worries me, although it could just be the lighting. Are these the old-style clear (white) corners?

same pattern, but looks "clearer"

The difference I see between the two is:
- In the sidemarker, the flat, non-patterned rectangle in the middle is smaller on the first design than the second one.
- In the middle of the front blinker, the first design doesn't seem to have the "diamond" pattern, just a bunch of horizontal lines, while the second design seems to have the "diamond" pattern across the whole blinker.

Are all of these the same thing, just a trick of lighting? Or are they different, and is one preferable to the other?

if you do buy them on e-bay first make sure you buy from someone with a good rating wouldn't wanna get raped. Second go for the "diamond cut" clear corners they look way better and there going for around the same price.

the first one is definitely diamond cut, but the next two are the older foggy clears.

There's a way...

..to secure them on better than just snapping them in.

On the light there's a small nub that screws into the light? Unscrew that and and then remove the part that it snaps into. Now you have to reach way up inside the bumper and you may need to remove a panel under there, take the light and put it in there and hold it there and put a large washer over the screw on nub you removed and put it back on from the inside.

I'd heard that some people perfer to not do this since a theif will tend to scratch up your car if they can't get the lights off. Its something to consider.

Good Luck.

Ebay!

Oh, and one MORE thing, if you buy on Ebay, look out for a seller called "BONBONSHAKER". He is 100% A$$H___, and he will not send you what you bought. Beware of him!

Hey thanks for the heads-up! I think I'll leave mine be, but keep the amber lenses in my trunk just in case. It really sucks that something like this can't be prevented. I don't live in a high theft area, but it happens.

Thanks everyone else too,
-Jeff
