Ringing sound at a certain speed...

I have a 99 SE-L Maxima. Bought the car with only 7,999 miles on it. Yah, it appeared to have a clean history too . Anyhow, it has ~9,200 miles on it now. Question I have concerning the car is that, when i hit a certain speed 70-80ish a ringing sound starts to form. Like the ringing sound you get out of nowhere in your ear sometimes... It gets louder as I go faster. I have a 10mph gap due to the fact that the amount of fuel I have in the car plays a role. If my tank is full, it starts sooner(70mph), a little lower on gas(half,80mph). If I hit 80+ and let go of the gas, the ringing stops. It happens when i'm within the 70-80+ area and keep accelerating. Any ideas on what the problem is? (If any, not sure if its suppose to do that or what .) BTW, this is on a automatic, and atm is all stock.

Could it be your tires? Perhaps due to incorrect wear from being over/under-inflated...

That'd be pretty freaky to have my phone ring on and off every time I speed up and slow down

Well, if it rings while i'm hitting 80mph and I go over and let go of the gas, the tires are still going 80+mph, but isnt ringing.

If you are driving on the highway, put it in neutral and then listen. that could pinpoint it as if it's a really tight high pitched vibration from the exhaust or something coming from the engine.
