o.k. here's the deal
how did you tighten up the adjustable pulley with the supercharger being on and what size socket if you used one.
you know P.I.T.A one under the supercharger?
you were talking about having other issues, well this may be it.
i got under the car and noticed that it "P.I.T.A" adjustable pulley thingy must have to line up properly but i can't get to it.
I think that may be contributing to the shredded belts.
help me mr wizard!

You have a V1 kit right? There is no aftermarket one available. It is a VERY good quality pulley, not like the crap ones in the V2 kits. Call Stillen and try to get them to sell you one. You have to be VERY specific tho. I still have the wrapper from the one I bought kicking around somewhere if you need a part number or something.

Let me know,
Del

Can I ask what adjustable pulley you guys are talking about for the V1 kit? Because im not using any adjustable pulleys on mine, unless you are talking about the stock idler pulley?

He is either talking about the Idler pulley on the plate or the actual tensioner that bolts onto the block, I am assuming it's the idler, but either way, there are no upgradeable pulleys for the V1 other than the SC pulley itself If his tensioner is busted then it is even easier. He can just go to the dealer.

97, how did you expect me to see this thread? Every so often I do a search on my name for stuff like this but I don't do it that often. You're 'lucky' I saw this only a week later. Just feel free to e-mail or PM me in the future. Anyway, did you solve the problem? I'm not quite sure what you mean. Do you mean the adjusting nut shown in the following pic.?

<Shoot, the following image is too big to post, just go here:

and go down to the FSM page MA-10>

Well, it may seem difficult to get to but it is possible. I don't have an extension long enough so I ended up piecing smaller extensions. I think this gave me a benefit! It makes it more of a flexable tool. Try that. Just lower your ratchet with your extension(s) and socket down through the free space and onto the adjusting nut. You'll get it. I don't recall the socket size off hand, sorry. Good luck.
