Well seems I ahev a clicking sound coming from my front right wheel. I notice it more when I'm in a parking garage. When I turn my sterring wheel all the way and proceed to move forward it gets louder, it's coming from the fron right wheel for sure. Any idea what this could be? Somehting to be worried about? As always huge thanks in advance!

check the cv joint. see if there's grease all around.

look behind your tire: if the accordion-like CV boot directly behind the wheel is a big, gross mess (oil everywhere), then you have a busted CV boot. The clicking indicates that either all the grease is gone because the boot is cracked, or that the joint itself is bad.

If it's not that, when did you last change your brakes, and where did you get them changed?

Your Problem is Definatly the CV Joint....I had to replace my recently....i paid bout $150 total to get mine fixed..since i replaced the joint...i dont hear any noise.

 

wheel bearing ?

if it sounds like pebbles in the wheel.. its the wheel bearing that's shot.

 

I have the same sound coming from my right front wheel.. but when i aply the brake the noise goes away while the brake is aplied.. but as soon as a release the brake it comes back... i was thinking that my brakes needed to be changed, or does this still qualifiy it self as a CV joint that is gone...

Well it's not the CV joint, just checked the rubber thing, it's not all gross and cover wiht crap, it's perfectly fine. No grease anywhere. I changed the brakes a while back. I'll check them again. I changd my own pads. I wonder what else it can be. I thik it becomes more noticeable after driving kind of hard on say a highway. Weird. Thanks though

I think it is the CV joint. When I had my Honda I would do the “test” in the parking lot, do a circle left and then right. In your case, to the right and you hear clicking. When you apply the brakes the clicking stops. When you put on the brakes (foot off gas to brake) you take the load of off the CV joint so it does not click. Then when you give it gas it will click again.

it could also be loose lug nut.. i had this problem at one time.. loud clicking noises but it was a lose lug nut.. or it could be a wheel bearing as cheston says..

did you change your suspension recently? it will click of the spring is not seated right and keeps trying to reseat it self
