Fog lamps question

I searched but didn't finde a true answear.

I just baught the original fogs for my 96 gxe. It has the 3rd wire ready in the front bumper, (driver seat is electronic and the front vanity mirrors are lit up. All i would have to do is cut out the wholes where the fogs go, but I don't knopw if the brackets are there for me to screw them in. Also, what other wireing do i havae to do (switche? etc)

Thank You.

Where did you get the foglamps from? If you bought a kit, it should have come with two steel brackets that mount to the bottom of the bumper. The lamps then bolt to the bracket with a ball joint and two screws.

What he is saying is that if you didnt get a kit with brackets, there arent any hiding under there waiting for you. Also, you will need the new turn signal stalk with the fog light switch, which is a direct bolt-in. If not, you will need to wire up your own switch.

This is OT: but why hasn't anyone taken a pair of IS300 fog lights and put them onto a Max? I saw a S14 with that yesterday.

I got them at dealer that sells accidented cars. 40$ for both. But, I have to buy the brackets from Nissan, and then wire them up.
