i was wondering which brand would be the best to buy for bulbs if i wanted a HID look like the BMW's with HID lamps. would it be piaa? hiper? polarg? eurolite?

please correct me if i'm wrong, but piaa only carries 9004 for the headlights, they dont' carry 1157, 156, or 194, rite?

whichever bulb you recommend, could you let me know of a good place where i can get these bulbs relatively cheap? thanks

There isn't a bulb on the market that looks like real HIDs (I can spot the imitations from miles away). So do you want bulbs that have a blue tint, or do you want bulbs that are bright, white, and improve visibility?

PIAA

Try the PIAA for a white, white. I have the Eurolites all up front and they look awesome. They have a slightly blue tint to them but are bright and really get attention. If you are interested in them go here http://www.aieonline.com

Then I recommend Narva Rangepower 9004s. They are whiter, a little brighter, and a lot cheaper than the PIAAs. I've had mine for well over a year now with no problems.

i checked out the eurolite and they're 80/100w, piaa's are 45/65w, and what about the Rangepower? cause i prefer not having to buy an apc wiring harness for like another $35 for the 9004s. thanks

Polarg outlast Eurolite anyday!!!

I have Polarg Hyper Whites in the corner lenses 1175 and 194's. The 1157 and 194 Hyper Red in my taillights to give them a very different look at night. Every bulb in the interior is hyper white(glove box, both domes,doors,etc...)
Hyper white 194 for the rear plate lights x2, 194 in trunk, 1156 reverse x2. And i used clear 1156 and 194 for blinkers up front and in the side markers. For the tail blinker i used an orange 1156, the clear was way too bright.
Headlights: PIAA 9004 super whites (platinum series)
Factory fog: Hella Yellow Stars 85w (very close to the Lexus fogs) and Piaa Super Whites 85w as the second set of bulbs. I usually switch them once in a while.

I tried out the new 1157 LED bulbs and they sucked a$$. They werent bright enough to light up my tails, it looked like my tails were out. STAY AWAY FROM THESE!!!

Sylvania Cool Blues.

Nothing fancy or exotic about em. Very underrated.
Don't let the name fool you, they're not blue at all, they are very white. $17.00 a pair at Walmart, plus, if one ever burns out, just grab some change and head around the corner and pick up a new one! that's hard to beat!

I got my Narvas from (888) 673-3280. I think that Courtesy sells them, too. They are the stock wattage, so you don't need to change the harness.

Sylvania

These are underrated because they suck. Stay away from these bulbs, they're cheap and you pay for what you get. Get some PIAA, Pilargs or my favorite, The Eurolites.

you can get polarg bulbs, and others, at autotoys.com. Or if you have patience you can get them cheaper on ebay.

the normal wattage is 65/45. if you do use an aftermarket bulb the wattage might be higher so you'd have to use a apc wire harness.

WHAT!?

no one mentioned APC's 80/100watt with harness, bulbs are $25 @ nopi.com and the harness is $35 from autdynamic.com still way cheaper than piaas and twice the output.

Are you talking about the "APC - H7 Plasma Super White Xenon 100w Pair" product, because that is all I find under nissan maxima, and it is $25, but it doesnt say anything about coming with a wiring harness and H7's, will that work for what we need?
