primered body kit pieces question
hey ive got a question about having an unpainted/primered body kit on your car. Im going to have the unprimered, stillen lip on and side skirts and rear valences, the SS's and the valences are primered, i was wondering if driving around with them like that in the rain would mess up the primered pieces? thanks a lot

Ya nad I have a few Q's to add that you might be asking after install.
How do you hide the screws after you screw in the side skirts, or didi you all just use tape in the door jams????
The rear fits like crap, what adhesive did you use to get them flush???

Rears: I used 3M molding tape(double-sided) and I put screws in also.

if the primer is water based then the rain will start to wash it off so its best not to leave it in the humid conditions too.
BRIGBOY - what I did with the sideskirts is that I used the tape and also got some small screws and screwed them near the edge of the skirt so that way when you close the door, the door will hide the tops of the screws so you cant see them much. you might have to grind the tops of the screws a little so that the door doesnt hit them. I dont know about the skirts though because I have Ionics but I think if you try heating them up with a heat gun, you can get them to mold better to the bumper so that it fits more flush
