question on my auto tranny in a 99

since its been getting colder ive noticed that in the mornings or late at night, that my torque converter wont kick in like it normally does at 45 mph. it waits a long time, i gueSS b/c it needs to warm up.

is this normal???

Your transmission won't kick into overdrive or lock up the torque convertor until it's up to a specific operating temp.
