I30 Crab has them. There was a large thread about them a few weeks ago.

Yes' I've had them for 3 months and they're awesome! I also installed the heavier (40 lbs) valve springs. The motor revs to 7000 effortlessly and I could easily go higher but I'm still breaking in the engine.
By the way, I will be at stillin on the 19th and I hope to meet a lot of Max org members.

Where did you get your valve springs from? Also did you just cut the stock valves or do you have aftermarket ones?

I'd have to see a dyno sheet to believe it. JWT is marketing these as a 10-15hp increase in NA cars, 25-30hp in s/c or t/c.

I've ordered a set, damn, cost $1100!

Where'd you see these hp claims. I haven't been able to find any except hearsay on the .org. JWT's website hasn't been updated since like 1997.

the performance yields would most likely be somewhere between 15 and 25 HP. ECU would need to be upgraded to. Cams are typically a great start for SC. I can get cams for my J through NICO at around $500. That includes both upper and both lower. I would guess the pricing would be similar with this style VQ motor. There's tons of dynos out there with 300z's N/a with cams.

N/A 300z is a different motor. I heard these are for the 350z but with shims will be able to fit our 4th gens.

I want to see dynos. Upper and lower, you mean intake and exhaust cams. Anyone know the lift/duration of our stock cams? And how about the JWT cams?

So there would be a 10-15hp gain in 4-7K??? And how about the low end loss, if any?

As for the valve springs, you can order those as well from JWT.

It also seems funny to me that they would be on back order when only 2 of us have ordered them, not that every Maxima owner comes here to the org, but still seems a little skeptical.

Wow, $1100 for a 25 HP gain? Plus labor. I dont know if this mod will be in there for me for a while. Cost to power ratio just seems a bit high.

I agree with you. The MEVI is a much better deal for the hp gain...although since I'm going with a built motor for my turbo, and it costs about the same to do similar grinds, might as well get these billet cams.
