What are your opinions on headlight bulbs...

I want to get some new headlight bulbs. I don't want to buy any HID for $500-$1000. What bulbs are others using? Do you like them or dislike them?

Also I need to buy a new clutch. I'm looking at ACT. Which clutch do you have? Do you like it? Did you get the 4-pad disc or 6-pad disc? Which do you prefer?

I got my HIDs from Freddie for $375 (installed!). There's really no bulbs on earth that compare to HIDs.

Spend the money, you won't regret it. Every night I turn mine on it brings a smile to my face.

If you can afford the HID's get them because no aftermarket bulbs can compared to them. If you can't afford them, get the PIAA's (they run about $75/pair). They look pretty nice and will not melt your headlight harness. As for the ACT clutch(4 pad), it's a good mod if you like to launch your car hard. My clutch is not as easy to depress as compared to stock but i love the way it grabs!

I have not owned any PIAAs, but I have heard less-than-stellar review about them. Many though that they were not that good for the price and I've heard many stories about people's bulbs going after 9 months to a year.

COOL THANKS.
I'VE BEEN HOPING TO FIND POLARG HEADLIGHTS BUT THE ONLY BULBS THEY MAKE THAT FIT THE MAX ARE THE FOGLIGHTS.
THOSE COST LIKE $65 ALSO. BUT THEY DON'T MAKE 9004 BULBS.
THEY ONLY MAKE 9005 AND 9006.

Headlights - get some Philips BlueVisions. $25 a pair at your local auto parts store.

I have tried other bulbs, and PIAA really are the way to go. Better vision, and they look good.

For $60, I can buy two pairs of my Philips BlueVisions and see even better than PIAAs.

Besides, I use my headlights to see things, not for people to think my headlights look cool.

I use the CoolBlues...much better than OEM.

Be careful with HIDs...in Texas you have to have working high and low beams. Most HID kits are only single, thus making them illegal.

To those of you using the BlueVisions... what bulbs do you have in your cornering lights?
