Please help.

I'm removing the Bose from my 95 GLE and putting in a new (functioning) one (that's right, CD and tape gave gone out). You guys steered me to the site for removal instructions, and I've got the whole dash apart. Only problem is I can't get the tube disconnected, and it goes into the little vent next to the fan speed switch for the AC (digital one).

Anyone have a suggestion?

well first off, put more discription in your subject line. "please help" could mean anything to us, and quite frankly it is anoying.

with that out of the way... what are you talking about? is there a tube on the back of youre stereo? i am not sure where this tube is. i had a 95 max se and there wasn't a tube in mine and i took my dash apart quite a few times. how is the tube conected the ac? is it metal or plastic? do you have a pic? sorry, i just need more info in order to help you out.

Further clarity on stereo removal problem

Well, I thought it was pretty clear. There is (presumably wires inside of it), a tube like thing that goes into a connector, which goes into the little vent just to the right of the fan switch. I couldn't remove it, thereby keeping me from pulling out the stereo console piece.

Thanks...
