Gunmetal Gauge Rings Before and after PICS

Well i finally shelled out a couple bucks and decided to finally get these bad boys and i must say they are well worth it. Install took like 20mins. Note, the glue that holds these things on is more like cheap silly putty. I dont really know what it is but i spent the bulk of the time trying to get the rings to stay flush, the glue wouldnt always stick well for the 2 larger rings. Anyway the final product looks good to me and i must say these pics dont really do it justice. Ill try to take pics where it is brighter out. I had to use my low level flash on these.

1600x1200 pics size!

I ordered these when they first came out and....

I had a similar experience with the adhesive. I beleive it is the same stuff they use for speaker grills, just not enough of it.

It was a b!tch to get them to stay.

How do they look at night? Do the rings reflect the gauge lights like the chrome rings do?

My chrome gauge rings from Sycefiro fit perfectly and there was ample adhesive for them to stick easily.

I paid $35 shipped. It was from a guy who sold them on ebay but i didnt do the auction thing, i just emailed him. As for my mileage, thats what happend when u have a stick.

I never got chrome casue i hate chrome. Besides its gonna go nice with my new gunmental/aluminum dash kit that im gonna try and make.

At night u cant really tell they are there at all but its more of a day mod anyway.

You should see chrome gauge rings at night when they reflect the gauge lighting. I get compliments all the time. If only my digicam can take decent pictures at night
