anyone with 18s and Sprint springs with rubbing problem?
I just put on my new 18x8 SSR GT1's with 235/40/18 Kumho tires. When I drove around and making turns I hear what seem to be rubbing noise. I think it's either from the fender liner or the fender itself. Anyone have this problem?

And you got cut Sprint in the rear right? I asked because my car look exactly as low as your sig pic. So other than that, you don't really have any rubbing issue?

Turns out that the outside edge of the tire is rubbing the fender liner slightly. I have a PR-CAI. The rubbing is due to that fact that my filter causes the fender liner to bulge out a little. I have almost worn through the liner and need to take the time to reposition the filter inside the fender wall to stop the rubbing. For now, I make sure not to turn the wheel all the way to right til it stops, I can turn it almost all the way.
This might be your problem.

That might be my problem. The passenger side fender liner on my car does bulge out a bit too. I have a custom CAI for the SC.

Update:
Now I know where the rubbing is coming from. It's from the fender liner on the driver side. I had a CAI in there before, so there's a bulge there. Even though the CAI is no longer there, the bulge is still there. I tried to push the bulge in somehow, but it didn't work. I think I might have to get a new fender liner.

I'll just keep being careful. As long as I dont lock to the steering wheel all the way right, I'm ok.
I thought I was the only person to have this problem, guess not.

I have 18x7.5" wheels and Sprints, and I rub on the passenger side. But, not on the liner. Also, only when fully cranked to the left. The front of the tire rubs against the metal that's there.

Ok guys, I know that if I turn to the right, it would rub against the fender liner on the driver side.
I got another problem. Whenever I hit medium to big bumps, I would get a squeak. It sounded like when I hit the bump, the wheel would make contact with against the fender. Is it because of the lack of travel space of the Sprint springs? I get the sound from the front and back. I'm getting tired of this crap, I might just get me some Eibach springs. I didn't have this problem when I had the stock wheels on. However, now that I have the 18s on, I get this crap.
