small but annoying problem

hey guys i know this is a stupid problem but its annoying as hell. the other day i was trying to remove my hood mask off my 95 gxe to clean under it and my hood wouldnt stay up. what do i have to do???

This is probably because the gas struts which are supposed to hold the hood up have lost their pressure. You may replace them or use an improvised means to hold up the hood. I've heard of ...
- a cut-to-length broomstick used as a prop rod
- a nine-iron used as a prop rod
- a Vise-Grip locking pliers pinched onto one of the support strut rods

Same here

I have Same problem with mine. Where can i get new ones besides dealer. I heard they are not easy to come by.

duh

Good idea i never thought to go to the junkyard. They will prolly only charge like 10 for one. Just make sure to try to take one of a newer max than yours or same problem will result.
