I was wondering about maybe some black rims with a chrome lip? Anyone have any? I have a pearl white maxima and I think they may look good, ya think? Let me know if anyone has some.

 

I have a pearl white max and was thinking the same thing. I think a gunmetal color would look better than just black. I think that it would look sweet when they're going down the road all you would see is the polished lip.

 

I thought about that too. Gunmetal grey is sweet also, I almost got some. Yes, chrome with black - I can only image how sweet it would look - like 'austin powers sexy'!

I was supposed to get a white max, but i ended up with a black one...either way, i had already bought 17" gunmetal rims with a polished lip and center cap. I don't have any pics yet, but i'll be taking some today, and i'll post them when i get it...

lol, yeah that was me, but i didn't know you wanted it till it was too late.......if it makes you feel any better, you would have had to get it painted anyway, it was all scratched up from an accident...

 

You guys ever seent the Enkei Bortex RPM2?? Really sweet rims. My brother has it on his black prelude and it looks good. Black rims but as you get closer you see more chrome then black. The rims aren't black but aren't chrome it's kinda hard to describe but it's the best looking hyper black rim i've seen so far.

 

It's a shame prelude rims won't fit a max

 

Actually they do fit. My brother's rims are 5 lugs just like my max and i've rode with his stock rims on my max before (I was getting some new tires on mine at the time)

I think black or gunmetal rims on a white max would look ugly as sin and out of place. Only on black and sterling mist max's can get away with it, IMO.
