Y-pipe stuff

So I've tried emailing WSP about this and I didn't get any answer. I tried calling and didn't get to talk to anyone.

Here's the deal: I bought an older WSP pipe off an ORG member and it has some bees-in-can sound. It actually sounds like the "angry crickets" that seem to be in constant reference. The sound is audible in the car, but VERY audible outside and IMO detracts from sweet belching of my Apex-i WS catback (it is still too loud, but is breaking in slowly). How much does the lined flex section retrofit from WsP cost?

Also, I read a while back that an org member wrapped his Y-pipe in either fiberglass or header wrap (the whole thing) to decrease cabin resonance. Anybody know if this worked?

Re: Y-pipe stuff

it works, but its much more prone to rust if you wrap it up.

Perhaps you misconstrue. I was talking about wrapping the actual pipe itself and not the flex section. I want to get that retrofitted.

lined flex replacement

i have a year old budget pipe with the same angry crickets problem i emailed warpspeed and they said that a lined flex section replacement would cost $50 plus $6.50 shipping. i'm in massachusetts though, so it might be different for where u are.
