Need help please!!.. Frankencar w/ JWTor CAI

Ok I know that this topic has been discussed a lot and believe me I searched but I just didnt find exactly what I was looking for. From what people have experienced would I be better off with a frankencar and JWT intake or a PRCAI for my maxima. I have read numerous times that the PRCAI helps off the line for autos but a lot of people have also said that this CAI has hurt them. I dont care about drilling holes or anything like that but I just want to know what experiences have people had with the frankencar and the PRCAI. Thanks a lot

the reason u will never really find what your looking for by searching is because its all personal opinion. i have never ridden in a max with a franken car but, the jim wolf seemed to be decint especially around 5k rpm range, the car doesnt loose all is pull like usually does. but i have the place racing CAI and like it a lot. its sound beastly, like a small v8, gives good gains. i dont go on the highway that much, so as far as around town goes the CAI benefits me better. i didnt notice a loss in top end, just no gain, but there is a definate gain in low to mid range rpm. i may switch to hybrid tho when i do my 5speed swap. i would go with franken car or prCAI

okay, where do you wanna lose power at? some say that with the hybrid intake, you have gains all aroud, and with the CAI gives you low ends gains with high end losses. I have a FrankenCar and the gain is very slight, but a gain is a gain. I imagine the CAI would give you a more significant low end gain, but if you are on the highway alot, it may not be your best bet.
