Weird noise... Need opinion!!!

Weird noise... Need opinion!!!
Hey all. My max started making this sound for the past 4 days. When its in idle or whenever im going extremely slow (just rolling) and turning wheel I get weird noise like a hard click. Sounds like MAF "gate" opens up, but im not sure. Its coming from that side. I checked my powersteering fluid and its a little bit above minimum. Dont know if that is it either. If any one know whats wrong or ever experienced same problem, please let me know. All opinions are welcome.

sounds like it's the CV joints. Take a peek behind the wheel. If the large accordion-like boot directly behind the wheel hub is leaking or cracked, you may need to replace the boot and re-oil, or the entire joint. Do a search for CV joint. SOmeone once posted a pic of it.

Incase you need, I have 2 axles, one with new boots, one with used (but good condition). 75 for one with new boot, 60 for other. One is for 5spd, the other for auto. Both abs.

I'll see what i can do... Im going to mechanic to check it out tomorrow, and if he would look like he doesnt know what hes talking about then Ill ask my personal mechanic (my father). Dont wanna tell him yet because he'll ask to pop the hood, and then he'll see the midpipe and he'll go balistic on me. He's against all mods what so ever.
