all i wanted to do was get a front sway bar for my 95 gxe over winter break. ppl were saying good things about it and how it takes ten mins to install. i went today to a perf shop near my house and the guy tells me after calling whoever that they dont have one for my car, it wont fit a 95? i remember seing on the web also that at a certain site they only had 96-99 listed. i thought all these cars were suppp to be the same, damn. anyway, i called nissan dealers and they gave me prices without saying anything so i dont know what to do. SO THIS IS WHAT I WANT TO KNOW, ANY PPL WITH A 95 PUT A FRONT SWAY BAR ON? IF SO WHERE CAN I FIND ONE ON THE NET?

MY SECOND PROBLEM IS INSTALLATION. I REMEMBER PPL SAYING ITS SO EASY. THE GUY AT THE SHOP TELLS ME OVER 80 BUCKS, IT REQUIRES DRILLING OR WHATEVER. NISSAN TELLS ME 115. PPL ARE SO FU**IN FULL OF SHI*. I WOULD HAVE JUST GIVEN UP ON THIS WHOLE THING BUT PPL SEEM SO SATISFIED........THANKS FOR ANY RESPONSE. ALSO, DOES ANYONE KNOW A SHOP IN CENTRAL JERSEY WHRE I CAN GET THIS INSTALLED FOR CHEAP?

I've installed botht the stillen and addco in less than an hour. It's not an $80 job. If you're in southern california, I'll help you out. In and out of my garage in an hour. The 95-99 sway bars should install all the same. The 5th generation uses different mounting holes as the 4th gen, but uses the same bar with the same level of difficulty to install.

Front sway bar or Front strut tower brace? No one sells front sway bars for the Maxima. If its a fstb and those shops are chargign you that much to instal, theyre ripping you off bug time. olice:

THERE IS NO AFTERMARKET FRONT SWAY BAR FOR THE MAXIMA... damn I hate typing in all caps.

There is the front STRUT TOWER BRACE and the REAR sway bar. Now there is a factory front sway bar.. and yes that is a ***** to install.

i thought front sway bar and strut bar were the same thing. never mind, i dont know where i got that from. so, should things start making sense once i start calling it a front strut tower brace? gracias.
